I am Cristina Lanuza Zamora, translator and subtitler from English and German into Spanish, Valencian, and Catalan.
I used to play saxophone and piano, but now I use every day my keyboard for transmitting and making accessible other's projects without any barriers: no language barrier, no cultural barrier, no format barrier.
You can find me translating legal, economic, or financial texts, dealing with different file formats, with the DTP of a document, or subtitling. Anyway, I am always attend to terminology, the aim of the project, and the character of the final client.
Each job is a new challenge, and I have a soft spot for challenges related to languages and technology. Each project is unique, and that’s why I have to adapt to. I mean, I have to act in a different way according to your needs, and I try to give my best. After all, I have made my vocation my profession.

Conversion of an audio or video speech in Spanish, Valencian, or Catalan into a text document for publishing it, creating content, or as a first step to translate or to subtitle it.
Spelling, typographical, grammatical and style checking. It ensures that the final product works with the maximum quality. It prepares the content for translating it, because the higher the quality of the original, the higher the quality of the translation.
It consists of checking a translation against its original, ensuring consistency, the correct use of the field-specific terminology, and the high quality of the translation.
Post-editing service consists of two phases: automatic translation and proofreading. It is not for texts to be published, because its only purpose is to know the general lines of the information of a text. Probably, the translated text does not maintain the layout of the original.
The aim of the localization service is to adapt the product to the format and the foreign language and culture for their marketing and internationalization. This service includes the translation of websites, WordPress, PO files, software, games, packaging, marketing and advertising texts.
DTP service for translated documents in any of the above languages, with Microsoft Office or InDesign.
